Letter to Huessein Obama

This venerable and much honored WW II vet is well known in Hawaii
for his seventy-plus years of service to patriotic organizations and causes all over the country. A humble man without a political bone in his body, he has never spoken out before about a government official, until now. He dictated this letter to a friend, signed it and mailed it to the president.



Dear President Obama,

My name is Harold Estes, approaching 95 on December 13 of this year. People meeting me for the first time don't believe my age because I remain wrinkle free and pretty much mentally alert.

I enlisted in the U.S. Navy in 1934 and served proudly before, during and after WW II retiring as a Master Chief Bos'n Mate. Now I live in a "rest home" located on the western end of Pearl Harbor , allowing me to keep alive the memories of 23 years of service to my country.

One of the benefits of my age, perhaps the only one, is to speak my mind, blunt and direct even to the head man.

So here goes.

I am amazed, angry and determined not to see my country die before I do, but you seem hell bent not to grant me that wish.

I can't figure out what country you are the president of.
You fly around the world telling our friends and enemies despicable lies like:
" We're no longer a Christian nation"


" America is arrogant" - (Your wife even
announced to the world," America is mean-
spirited. " Please tell her to try preaching
that nonsense to 23 generations of our
war dead buried all over the globe who
died for no other reason than to free a
whole lot of strangers from tyranny and
hopelessness.)


I'd say shame on the both of you, but I don't think you like America, nor do I see an ounce of gratefulness in anything you do, for the obvious gifts this country has given you. To be without shame or gratefulness is a dangerous thing for a man sitting in the White House.

After 9/11 you said," America hasn't lived up to her ideals." Which ones did you mean?



1. Was it the notion of personal liberty that 11,000 farmers and shopkeepers died for to win independence from the British?



2. Or maybe the ideal that no man should be a slave to another man, that 500,000 men died for in the Civil War?



3. I hope you didn't mean the ideal 470,000 fathers, brothers, husbands, and a lot of fellas I knew personally died for in WWII, because we felt real strongly about not letting any nation push us around, because we stand for freedom.

4. I don't think you mean the ideal that says equality is better than discrimination. You know the one that a whole lot of white people understood when they helped to get you elected.

Take a little advice from a very old geezer, young man.

Shape up and start acting like an American. If you don't, I'll do what I can to see you get shipped out of that fancy rental on Pennsylvania Avenue . You were elected to lead not to bow, apologize and kiss the hands of murderers and corrupt leaders who still treat their people like slaves.

And just who do you think you are telling the American people not to jump to conclusions and condemn that Muslim major who killed 13 of his fellow soldiers and wounded dozens more. You mean you don't want us to do what you did when that white cop used force to subdue that black college professor in Massachusetts , who was putting up a fight? You don't mind offending the police calling them stupid but you don't want us to offend Muslim fanatics by calling them what they are, terrorists.

One more thing. I realize you never served in the military and never had to defend your country with your life, but you're the Commander-in-Chief now, son. Do your job. When your battle-hardened field General asks you for 40,000 more troops to complete the mission, give them to him. But if you're not in this fight to win, then get out. The life of one American soldier is not worth the best political strategy you're thinking of.

You could be our greatest president because you face the greatest challenge ever presented to any president.
You're not going to restore American greatness by bringing back our bloated economy. That's not our greatest threat. Losing the heart and soul of who we are as Americans is our big fight now.
And I sure as hell don't want to think my president is the enemy in this final battle...

Okay, just when you thought it couldn't get any worse. Your lovely commander in chief has decided to sue Arizona over their new immigration laws. This is an out and out trampiling of states rights. Not to mention the fact Hilary Rodham told a foriegn country's people their intent before Arizona even knew about it! What in the wide, wide, world of sports is going on here? (that was a reference to a movie called "Blazing Saddles" fyi)

This is EXACTLY what we fought the Revolutionary War over. The right to govern ourselves!
I agree that federal law should trump state law, on certain things. Obviously we can't have the state of Arkansas (for example) declaring war on Iran. But something like this, where the feds have completley failed to do anything, people are going to take action.
Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness ring a bell, Obama? Maybe you ought to read the document that has that line in it.
The people of Arizona are being swallowed whole by illegal immigrants. Everybody seems to know that except you. Who the hell are you to tell the people of Arizona they can't protect their property and families? You are arrogant. And although you were eligible to be elected president, you certainly are not qualified. You are easily the worst president since Carter, hands down, not even close.
I am going to say this is about as close to treason as it gets! He is failing in his sworn duty to protect these United States, and the citizens in it. By suing Arizona, he is going to try and usurp that states authority to protect itself, in effect, treason.

I have said it many times folks. A second civil war is coming, I used to think it maybe it would be over taxes, and maybe not in our lifetimes. Now, I am not so sure.
This immigration thing is getting out of control, and with this lawsuit, I really am not wanting to think what could happen. I hate to be a doomsday kind of guy. But I guarantee you this, if this was the 1700's or 1800's, we already be at war over something like this.

If it comes down to it, I would wager 99% of the country is with you Arizona. I know I am!

First he decides that we need to have a world with no nukes, then he turns right around and declares Europe is a major threat to be hit by Al-Qaeda with a nuke.

So let me get this straight, we are going to disarm ourselves and Russia, so if the towel heads ever do get a nuke, we will have nothing to respond with.

Cop killer sentence commuted in 2000

Cop killer sentence commuted.

(I'm sure you've all heard about the 4 cops that were killed in cold blood in washington state this weekend),

Okay, we all know where I am going with this.

WTF ARE YOU PEOPLE THINKING?

This guy has a rap sheet a mile long, he has been in the clink for at least a dozen felonies.

The then Gov. of Arkansas commuted his 108 year sentence to 47 years, making him eligible for parole. This after 5 felony convictions in that state alone! This was back in 2000 when Mike Huckabee was running the show in Arkansas.

Mr. Huckabee, it's a good thing you are not the gov. there anymore because I would be calling for your immiediate resignation.

I certainly hope you do not get the Republican nomination for President in 2012. If you can't display any better judgement than that, you have no business running this country, and I certainly will not vote for you.

I am putting this squarely on your shoulders. You have ruined the lives of four families, and shattered a whole community.

I will say this, Washington state (Pierce County) also has some culpability in this as they also let him out, while a pending child rape charge is on his plate.

HOWEVER,

if Huckabee doesn't commute him in the first place, he never even gets to Washington state and four police officers are still alive.

Granted, some of this occured when Clemmons was "under age" 16 or 17, but guess what, I don't care.

At age 18 he was convited of theft of property, and burglary.

I know some of the people will say,

"Well, Huckabee didn't pull the trigger, and he can't be held accountable for what this guy does.....blah blah blah"

That's a load of crap.

This guy has a VIOLENT history, it's not like he was in there for shoplifting.

There was no rehabilitating this guy, no chance of him being a decent member of society, none, zippo, nada.

You have to know by reading this guy's rap sheet, being in the postion you were in at the time,

he had NO business out among the decent folks.

As you all know I am a staunch conservative, but this is was just wrong.

I hope you are sleeping well tonight Mr. Huckabee, due to your horrible judgement, there is a whole community in Washington state that is not.

DIVORCE FROM THE LIBS!

Dear American liberals, leftists, social progressives, socialists, Marxists,

We have stuck together since the late 1950's, but the whole of this lastest election process has made me realize that I want a divorce. I know we toleretaed each other for many years for the sake of future generations, but sadly, this relationship has run its course. Our two idealogical sides of America cannot and will not ever agree on what is right so lets just end it on freindly terms. We can smile and just chalk it up to irreconcilable diferences and go our own way.

Here is a model seperation agreement:

Our two groups can equitably divide up the country by landmass each taking a portion. That will be the difficult part, but I am sure our two sides can come to a friendly agreement. After that, it should be relatively easy!

We don't like redistributive taxes so you can keep them. You are welcome to the liberal judges and the ACLU, and abortion clinics. Since you hate guns and war, we'll take our firearms, the cops, the NRA, and the military.

You can keep the frauds that are Oprah Winfrey, Michael Moore, and Rosie O'donnell.

We will also keep capitalism, greedy corporations, pharmaceutical companies, Wal-Mart and Wall Street.

You can have your beloved homeless, homeboys, hippies, and illegal aliens. We'll keep the hot Alaskan hockey moms and rednecks. We'll keep the bibles, and give you Hollywood and NBC.

You can make nice with Iran and Palestine and we'll reatin the right to invade and hammer places that threaten us.

You can have the peaceniks and war protesters. When our allies or our way of life are under assault, we'll help provide them security.

We'll keep our Judeo-Christian values. You are welcome to the violence of the so called "peaceful" religion of Islam, the Scientologists, Humanism and Shirley McClain. You may also have the U N., but we will no longer be paying the bill.

We'll keep the SUV's pick-up trucks and oversized luxury cars. You can take every Subaru station wagon you can find.

You cn give everyone health care, IF you can find any participating doctors. We'll continue to believe health care is a luxury not a right. We'll keep the battle hymn of the Republic and the National Anthem.

We'll practice trickle down economics, and you can give trickle up poverty your best shot.

Oh, we'll also be keeping our history, flag, and our name. Since these things so offend you.

In the spirit of freindly parting, I'll wager you ANWAR whom will need who's help in 15 years.

Tornado Forming Video

All she said was,

She didn't say all gay people will burn in hell, she didn't say lesbians should be drawn and quartered.

But these people that preach tolerance of other peoples morals, and ideals are always the first ones to jump on somebody when they don't believe what they believe.

For the record, I believe as Miss runner up USA does, marriage should be between a man and a woman.

You know, if anything she would've won the thing BECAUSE of what she said.

Lauer said something to the fact of,

"Really?"

This an excellent piece from a guy named Charlie Reese who was a journalist for some 40 plus years.

Politicians are the only people in the world who create problems and then campaign against them.

Have you ever wondered, if both the Democrats and the Republicans are against deficits, WHY do we have deficits?Have you ever wondered, if all the politicians are against inflation and high taxes, WHY do we have inflation and high taxes?

You and I don't propose a federal budget.

The president does.

You and I don't have the Constitutional authority to vote on appropriations.

The House of Representatives does.

You and I don't write the tax code, Congress does.

You and I don't set fiscal policy, Congress does.

You and I don't control monetary policy, the Federal Reserve Bank does.

One hundred senators, 435 congressmen, one president, and nine Supreme Court justices 545 human beings out of the 300 million are directly, legally, morally, and individually responsible for the domestic problems that plague this country.

I excluded the members of the Federal Reserve Board because that problem was created by the Congress.

In 1913, Congress delegated its Constitutional duty to provide a sound currency to a federally chartered, but private, central bank.

I excluded all the special interests and lobbyists for a sound reason.

They have no legal authority.

They have no ability to coerce a senator, a congressman, or a president to do one cotton-picking thing.

I don't care if they offer a politician $1 million dollars in cash.

The politician has the power to accept or reject it.

No matter what the lobbyist promises, it is the legislator's responsibility to determine how he votes.

Those 545 human beings spend much of their energy convincing you that what they did is not their fault.

They cooperate in this common con regardless of party.

What separates a politician from a normal human being is an excessive amount of gall. No normal human being would have the gall of a Speaker, who stood up and criticized the President for creating deficits.

The president can only propose a budget.

He cannot force the Congress to accept it.

The Constitution, which is the supreme law of the land, gives sole responsibility to the House of Representatives for originating and approving appropriations and taxes.

Who is the speaker of the House? Nancy Pelosi.

She is the leader of the majority party.

She and fellow House members, not the president, can approve any budget they want.

If the president vetoes it, they can pass it over his veto if they agree to.

It seems inconceivable to me that a nation of 300 million cannot replace 545 people who stand convicted -- by present facts -- of incompetence and irresponsibility.

I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people. When you fully grasp the plain truth that 545 people exercise the power of the federal government, then it must follow that what exists is what they want to exist.

If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.

If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red.

If the Army & Marines are in IRAQ, it's because they want them in IRAQ.

If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way.

There are no insoluble government problems.

Do not let these 545 people shift the blame to bureaucrats, whom they hire and whose jobs they can abolish; to lobbyists, whose gifts and advice they can accept or reject; to regulators, to whom they give the power to regulate and from whom they can take this power.

Above all, do not let them con you into the belief that there exists disembodied mystical forces like "the economy," "inflation," or "politics" that prevent them from doing what they take an oath to do.

Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible.

They, and they alone, have the power.

They, and they alone, should be held accountable by the people who are their bosses.

Provided the voters have the gumption to manage their own employees.

We should vote all of them out of office and clean up their mess!

After a much needed rest from the blogging world, I have returned to wow you with my undeniable wit and charm!

A lot has happened since my last entry, a new president, super bowl, the bail out package. etc etc

But, since all that seems like ancient history now, lets start with the upcoming Valentines Day.

If you've ever wondered about the origins.....well......I'm here to fill you in.

So, here we go!!!

THE ORIGINS OF VALENTINES DAY;

In the third century, the Roman Empire was ruled by Emperor Claudius II Gothicus. He was nicknamed Claudius the Cruel because of his harsh leadership and his tendency for getting into wars and abusing his people. In fact, he was getting into so many wars during the third century that he was having a difficult time recruiting enough soldiers.
Claudius believed that recruitment for the army was down because Roman men did not want to leave their loves or families behind, so he canceled all marriages and engagements in Rome. Thousands of couples saw their hopes of matrimony dashed by the single act of a tyrant. And no one seemed interested in standing up to the emperor.
But a simple Christian priest named Valentine did come forward and stood up for love. He began to secretly marry soldiers before they went off to war, despite the emperor's orders. In 269 AD Emperor Claudius found out about the secret ceremonies. He had Valentine thrown into prison and deemed that he would be put to death.
As Valentine was awaiting execution, he fell in love with a blind girl, who happened to be the jailers daughter. On the eve of his execution, with no writing instruments available, Valentine is said to have written her a sonnet in ink that he squeezed from violets. Legend has it that his words made the blind woman see again. It was a brief romance because the next day Valentine was clubbed to death by Roman executioners.
St. Valentine gave his life so that young couples could be bonded together in holy matrimony. They may have killed the man, but not his spirit. Even centuries after his death, the story of Valentine's self-sacrificing commitment to love was legendary in Rome. Eventually he was granted Sainthood and the Catholic Church decided to create a feast in his honor. They picked February 14 as the day of celebration because of the ancient belief that birds (particularly lovebirds, but also owls and doves) began to mate on that very day.

A Soldier's Silent Night

TWAS THE NIGHT BEFORE CHRISTMAS, HE LIVED ALL ALONE,
IN A ONE BEDROOM HOUSE MADE OF PLASTER AND STONE.
I HAD COME DOWN THE CHIMNEY WITH PRESENTS TO GIVE,
AND TO SEE JUST WHO IN THIS HOME DID LIVE.
I LOOKED ALL ABOUT, A STRANGE SIGHT I DID SEE,
NO TINSEL, NO PRESENTS, NOT EVEN A TREE.
NO STOCKING BY MANTLE, JUST BOOTS FILLED WITH SAND,
ON THE WALL HUNG PICTURES OF FAR DISTANT LANDS.
WITH MEDALS AND BADGES, AWARDS OF ALL KINDS,
A SOBER THOUGHT CAME THROUGH MY MIND.
FOR THIS HOUSE WAS DIFFERENT, IT WAS DARK AND DREARY,
I FOUND THE HOME OF A SOLDIER, ONCE I COULD SEE CLEARLY.
THE SOLDIER LAY SLEEPING, SILENT, ALONE,
CURLED UP ON THE FLOOR IN THIS ONE BEDROOM HOME.
THE FACE WAS SO GENTLE, THE ROOM IN SUCH DISORDER,
NOT HOW I PICTURED A UNITED STATES SOLDIER.
WAS THIS THE HERO OF WHOM I'D JUST READ?
CURLED UP ON A PONCHO, THE FLOOR FOR A BED?
I REALIZED THE FAMILIES THAT I SAW THIS NIGHT,
OWED THEIR LIVES TO THESE SOLDIERS WHO WERE WILLING TO FIGHT.
SOON ROUND THE WORLD, THE CHILDREN WOULD PLAY,
AND GROWNUPS WOULD CELEBRATE A BRIGHT CHRISTMAS DAY.
THEY ALL ENJOYED FREEDOM EACH MONTH OF THE YEAR,
BECAUSE OF THE SOLDIERS, LIKE THE ONE LYING HERE.
I COULDN'T HELP WONDER HOW MANY LAY ALONE,
ON A COLD CHRISTMAS EVE IN A LAND FAR FROM HOME.
THE VERY THOUGHT BROUGHT A TEAR TO MY EYE,
I DROPPED TO MY KNEES AND STARTED TO CRY;
THE SOLDIER AWAKENED AND I HEARD A ROUGH VOICE,
"SANTA DON'T CRY, THIS LIFE IS MY CHOICE;
I FIGHT FOR FREEDOM, I DON'T ASK FOR MORE,
MY LIFE IS MY GOD, MY COUNTRY, MY CORPS."
THE SOLDIER ROLLED OVER AND DRIFTED TO SLEEP,
I COULDN'T CONTROL IT, I CONTINUED TO WEEP.
I KEPT WATCH FOR HOURS, SO SILENT AND STILL
AND WE BOTH SHIVERED FROM THE COLD NIGHT'S CHILL.
I DIDN'T WANT TO LEAVE ON THAT COLD, DARK, NIGHT,
THIS GUARDIAN OF HONOR SO WILLING TO FIGHT.
THEN THE SOLDIER ROLLED OVER, WITH A VOICE SOFT AND PURE,
WHISPERED, "CARRY ON SANTA, IT'S CHRISTMAS DAY, ALL IS SECURE."
ONE LOOK AT MY WATCH, AND I KNEW HE WAS RIGHT.
"MERRY CHRISTMAS MY FRIEND, AND TO ALL A GOOD NIGHT."

When you wake up X-mas morning, and you have presents to get, and presents to give, and a good meal at grandma's to eat......

Please pray for our brave men and women in the armed forces doing what they do, so we can do what we do.

Well folks I have been pretty quiet to this point, I wanted to see how far this country had been brainwashed.

Let me just say...wow.

Sometimes I think the age this age of technology we have reached is not so good. If we didn't have access to news 24/7 from everything from our phones to satelite radio in the car, maybe so many people wouldn't have been brainwashed by the media about Barrack Huessein Obama.

I actually heard a lady on Sean Hannity yesterday say, (and I quote) "I thought this day would never come, I won't have to worry about putting gas in my car or my house payment ever again."

Uh......okay.

See what I mean?

Brainwashed, by another Slick Willie and the media. Pie in the sky false hopes and promises.

That's how the extreme left in this country wins.

You'd think this wolf in sheeps clothing was the second coming for goodness sake.

Do you realize he is GOING TO TAKE MONEY FROM PEOPLE who educated themselves, worked hard and reached the american dream . He wants to take THEIR money and give it to other people who don't make as much money.

Of course wether or not he can get it done is another matter, but just the simple fact he WANTS to, and thinks that is the best way to cure the ills of this country by giving people a handout is just wrong.

This is pure and simple socialism.

Can somebody name me one socialist country that is still thriving today?

There is a reason for that.

Sure, he is going to go after people that are making 250,000 a year and above.

For now.

What happens when he comes after YOUR paycheck?

Don't think it can't happen because this is exactly how it starts. A little from the rich, then when that wasn't so bad, it didn't really hurt them, we'll drop it down to people making 100,000 then 50,000....where would it end?

It wouldn't.

This a very dangerous man, folks.

So if you voted for him, when he comes after YOUR paycheck, you heard it here first.

And by the way, don't think the radical Islamists aren't absolutely licking their chops right now.

(but that's a discussion for another time)

OUR SISTER SARAH PALIN'S ANTI-ELITIST CHARM‏

I found the following very intereting, I am liking Sarah Palin more and more.

This is an article from Ralph Peters of the New York Post:

I KNOW Sarah Palin, and so does my wife.
Neither of us ever actually met the governor of Alaska , but we grew up with her - in the small-town America despised by the leftwing elite.
One gal-pal classmate of my wife's has even traveled from New York 's Finger Lakes to Alaska to hunt moose with her husband. (Got one, too.) And no, Ms. Streisand, she isn't a redneck missing half her teeth - she's a lawyer.
The sneering elites and their mediacrat fellow travelers just don't get it: How on earth could anyone vote for someone who didn't attend an Ivy League school? And having more than 1.7 children marks any woman as a rube. (If Palin had any taste, her teenage daughter would've had a quiet abortion in a discreet facility.)
And what kind of retro-Barbie would stay happily married to her high-school sweetheart? Ugh. She even kills animals and eats them. (The meat and fish served in the upscale bistros patronized by Obama supporters appears by magic - it didn't really come from living things.)
Palin has that hick accent, too. And that busy-mom beehive 'do. Double ugh! Bet she hasn't even read Ian McEwan's latest novel and can't explain Frank Gehry's vision for a new architecture. She and her blue-collar (triple ugh!) husband don't even own a McMansion, let alone an inherited family compound on the Cape .
And she wants to be vice president?
The opinion-maker elites see Sarah Palin clearly every time they look up from another sneering article in The New Yorker: She's a country-bumpkin chumpette from a hick state with low latte availability. She's not one of them and never will be. That's the real disqualifier in this race.
Now let me tell you what those postmodern bigots with their multiple vacation homes and their disappointing trust-fund kids don't see:
Sarah Palin's one of us. She actually represents the American people. When The New York Times, CNN, the NBC basket of basket cases and all the barking blog dogs insult Palin, they're insulting us.
When they smear her, they're smearing every American who actually works for a living, who doesn't expect a handout, who doesn't have a full-time accountant to parse the family taxes, who believes in the Pledge of Allegiance and who thinks a church is more than just a tedious stop on daughter Emily's 100K wedding day.
Go ahead, faux feminists and Hollywood deep thinkers: Snicker at Sarah America's degree from the University of Idaho, but remember that most Americans didn't attend Harvard or Princeton as a legacy after daddy donated enough to buy his kid's way in.
Go ahead, campaign strategists: Mock Americans who go to church and actually pray. But you might want to run the Census numbers first.
And go right ahead: Dismiss all of us who remember how, on the first day of deer season, our high school classrooms were half empty (not a problem at Andover or Exeter ).
That rube accent of Palin's? It's a howler. But she sounds a lot more like the rest of us than a Harvard man or a Smithie ever will. Why does Sarah Palin energize all of us who don't belong to the gilded leftwing circle? Because she's us. We sat beside her in class. We hung out after school (might've even shared a backseat combat zone on prom night). And now she lives next door, raising her kids. For the first time since Ronald Reagan, our last great president, we, the people, see a chance that one of us might have a voice in governing our country.
Speaking of Reagan ( Eureka College , Illinois ), every chief executive we've had since the Gipper snapped his final salute as president has had the imprimatur of an Ivy League university. And we've gone from bad to worse:
* George Herbert Walker Bush: Yale.
* William Jefferson Clinton: Georgetown , Oxford , Yale Law.
* George W. Bush: Yale and Harvard Business School .
The first lacked the sense to finish the job in Desert Storm; the second lacked the guts to go after al Qaeda when it was just a startup - and the third, well, let's just say he disappointed our low expectations.
Now we have the Ivy League elite's "he's not only like us but he's a minority and we're so wonderful to support him" candidate, Sen. Barack Obama ( Columbia and Harvard Law).
Our country can't afford another one of these clowns. Harvard isn't the answer - Harvard's the problem.
So here's the message Palin is sending on behalf of the rest of us (the down-market masses Dems love at election time and ignore once the voting's done): The rule of the snobs is over. It's time to give one of us a chance to lead.
Sen. John McCain's one of us, too. He raised hell at Annapolis (quadruple ugh: military!), and he'll raise the right kind of hell in Washington .
McCain's so dumb he really loves his country.
Sarah Palin's dumb that way, too. How terribly unfashionable.

Hiker taking steps in fight with cancer

This is a really good story folks.

You can apply this to anything in life. It doesn't have to be cancer, or life threatening.

The experts tell us we only use about 10% of our brain, simply because we haven't figured out how to use the other 90%.

I can give you some examples, and I know this has happened to every single one of you who is reading this right now.

Lets say you are driving down the road, and you start thinking of a certain song, and bam.....the next song that comes on is the very song you were thinking of...a coincidence? Maybe, maybe not. If it's a top 40 song that they play all the time.....okay I'd give you that one......but how many times has it been a song you haven't heard in forever.

Or how about this one, you will be thinking about somebody, just for no reason whatsoever, the phone rings, and it's the person you were thinking about, I know that has happened to you.

Again, coicidence?

Maybe.

But how many times has it happened in your lifetime?

I can think of several times where I have picked the phone up to call somebody, and the person I was calling has already called me and is on the line, but I picked it up right before it rang.

I'm a firm believer that's the power of the "untapped" mind.

The power of positive thinking can be a powerful thing.

Most of you that have known me my adult life, know I have Crohns. And I have had bouts with it several times over the years. And I have had this since about the 9th grade. I was pretty sick with it in high school, but I wasn't about to let it get me down. (although I did have to quit football pretty much because of it)

Anyway, I still was able to play basketball and golf.

But it was the power of positive thinking that really helped me.

Was I dealt a "crappy" hand (pun intended, lol) sure.....but there are people who had things a whole lot worse than I did.

Like the guy in this story.

Anyway, the lord won't give you anything you can't handle....stay positive....he will help you if you help yourself.....which to me means:

POSITIVE THINKING AND ATTITUDE!!!
