I know there i smore important things going on in the world. But I have to tell you about our tourney this weekend. We made it to the championship, and got beat...so pretty good. But it's how we got there.....
1st game @ 10:00 am:
We played a team called "One More Time" they are beating us all game, we get to the top of the 7th, we're batting, 2 outs, and we're down seven runs....yeah, we score seven runs with two outs....and come back and win the thing in x-tra innings 19-15. woohoo!
2nd game @ 11:00 am:
We play a team called "Jaybees Boyz" and we beat them with no real fanfare 18-12
3rd game @5 :00 pm:
Uh...we get crunched by a team called the "Vision Masonry Horsemen" 20-5. These guys could be the best team in the state in our division.
4th game @ 7:00 pm:
We play a team called "Blue Duck" we have never beaten these guys before, we're down 14-8 in the fifth, and come back and win it 21-20! This game puts us in the championship.
5th game @ 8:00 pm:
Now we're back to playing the "Horsemen" and we'd have to beat them twice to win the whole thing....well, they thumped us again 16-0.
But what a tourney for us.....we even won 50.00. (woohoo!)

And a personal note, my Grandma Cannon passed away yesterday, Dorothy Winifred Cannon. She led a full life, and was a great grandma.....I would list all of her kids, grandkids (me being the oldest) and great grandkids....but the blog site only allows me so much space, suffice it to say...there's a bunch of us.
Grandma, you can get "lit" all you want now, you have certainly earned it.
