Deadly tornadoes

Whew! What a weeknd, deadly twisters, my beloved black and gold wins the BTT (yay) and our first softball tourney goes well.....however lets start with the tornadoes. It was absolutely crazy in the K C metro area, I have never seen anything quite like it. Storm, after storm, after storm popped up and blew thru.
I know in Sedalia, Mo (about 35 miles from me) they had one twister go thru, they were holding a press conference about the damage, and when they hoped to get power restored and all that, and somebody burst in and said "We have another one on the way!" pretty crazy stuff. Luckily, your humble blogger had no damge or twisters in his location, some wind and it did hail for about a minute, and som lightning, but that was about it. On the other side of town though, some friends of mine had their car windows shattered by the hail..we were really lucky.

HAWKEYES:
Well, how 'bout them Hawkeyes? The second BTTT for us! Unfortunately we didn't get to see th egame down here due to the storm coverage.....the local station down here has heard about it, believe me.

Baa baa Rainbow sheep:
Oh brother, now I've heard it all. Hey I know, lets just shield everybody from everything. it's a friggin' nursery rhyme for Gods sake. If these kind of people would spend half as much time doing something that actually counts, the world as a whole would be a better place.

Feingold seeks rare censure of president:
First a little background on what "censure" means
{Less severe than expulsion, a censure (sometimes referred to as condemnation or denouncement) does not remove a president from office. It is a formal statement of disapproval, however, that can have a powerful psychological effect on a member and his/her relationships in the Senate. In 1834, the Senate censured President Andrew Jackson – the first and only time the Senate censured a president. Since 1789 the Senate has censured nine of its members.}
What do you expect from the Senator of the cheeseheads? Slick Willie commited a FELONY and got away with it by lying to a grand jury, so shut the hell up. Do you want to win this war or what?

Millionaire faces death penalty:
Um......ever heard of divorce there stupid? Yes Mr. defense attorney, he does need to be killed.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
And finally, pretty good first outing for the softball team....2 - 2. We beat a real good team from Council Bluffs, Iowa..one of the favs to win the tourney...they went home early...heh heh. Anyway, we won 15 - 10, 8 - 3, lost 27 -17, and lost 28-19. So, we put up some runs, but ran into a couple of teams that just got hotter than a whore in a pickle patch. If we can score between 15-20 all the time, we'll win a lot of games!
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------That's it for today, stay safe!!
