Clerics Call for Christian Convert's Death Despite Western Outrage

Sorry guys, but I am going to stay on top of this story 'til the end. I think it's important everybody understands what kind of fanaticism we are dealing with here. These "clerics" are the same people that want all the "infidels" (that'd be us) dead. Simply because we don't submit to Islam.
The article goes on to say if they do free him, the people will "rip him into pieces." What in Gods name are these people thinking?.....Murderer, rapist, child molester......sure, I'm all for that....but converting to Christianity is going to get you ripped to pieces?
Said Mirhossain Nasri, the top cleric at Hossainia Mosque, one of the largest Shiite places of worship in Kabul, said Rahman must not be allowed to leave the country.
"If he is allowed to live in the West then others will claim to be Christian so they can too," he said. "We must set an example. ... He must be hanged."
He must be hanged? This is from a top "cleric" over there guys. This would be like the priest at your church saying we need to hang one of the parishoners because he switched to the Jewish faith.
Here's the deal, they can't live and let live, it's their way, or the highway. I can't stress this enough guys, stay alert all the time, especially in big crowds.....where they think they may be able to do the most damage to the "infidels"

Christian Convert in Afghanistan Could be Unfit to Stand Trial

A follow up story:
Again, what did I tell you before.... what happens when your laws are made by a fundamentalist radical religion, read the paragraph below:

The state sponsored Human Rights Commision is calling for him to be punished, that's rich. You can't run a country like this, because this is what happens.
Now they want to try and have him declared insane, so the government can basically "get out of this"
The one guy in the story says, "He has brought much shame" Um, Noooooo...you're an idiot.
It's because of people like you Mohammed Jan, that we have to fight to stay free. You can stay brain washed if you like, but don't tell other people what religion they HAVE to be, you're the problem here Mohammed, and all like you.....get it?

Unhealthy Earth: Global Warming Takes Toll:
No dumb asses, the Earth was a whole hell of a lot warmer back in the day of the dinosaur. How do we know this? Because they were reptiles and needed a WARM climate to survive. They have found dinosaur bones in North America all over the damn place....Colorado to name one, Montana..etc...not exactly what we now know as "tropical"
And for the record, if the glaciers did all melt it would not "flood the world."
Glaciers are formed from snow that acummulates over time, guess what snow is folks......water, and guess where that came from......evaporation from the oceans.....so to keep it simple the glaciers are formed from water that was ALREADY here, and the world wasn't flooded then. The oceans constantly lose water due to evaporation, that's how it works.......the Earth has been here for a bazillion years, even if we had a nuclear war, the Earth would come back eventually......humans wouldn't probably, but no matter what we do, we cannot destroy the Earth totally.....sure we could hurt it a lot, but it will come back.

Hate-Mongering Group Protests Soldiers' Funerals

This Westboro "Church" and Fred Phelps in Topeka, Ks... is quite a deal, folks. This guy needs to have his happy little hole shut....permanently. There are actually people that he is able to brain wash into thinking how he thinks. People like this are....well.......I can't even describe it.
What he doesn't get is this......those soldiers are dying for his right to be a complete idiot, for his right to protest. Hey Fred, I wonder what would happen if you went and protested a soldiers funeral, in say, China, Russia, or almost any other country in the world......you wouldn't get five feet without somebody beating the living hell out of you.

Afghan Man Faces Death for Allegedly Converting to Christianity

See? What did I tell you in my blog on Thursday.
And by the way don't buy into the Judges comment, "We are not against any particular religion in the world. But in Afghanistan, this sort of thing is against the law," the judge said. "It is an attack on Islam. ... The prosecutor is asking for the death penalty."
Oh really, you're not.....hmmm..why is this guy going to die then most likely? I thought it was a "peaceful" religion......guess not. This is what happens when you have a fundamentalist radical religion making your laws, and people that are running the show brainwashed by same. I'm telling you what, these people are absolutley unbelievable. Can't we send a U S Marine in there and break this guy out? This is absolutley nuts, folks.
In case you didn't already realize it.....ALL of you, ALL of us, have already won lifes lottery just by being BORN in the U S and not having to put up with this kind of bull*hit. The United States is a tiny, tiny portion of the worlds population. Do you realize how unbelievably lucky we were to have been born here? The population of the Earth is approx 6.5 billion, the population of the United Sates is approx 300 million....I don't have a clue percentage wise what that is, but it's not very much. So go ahead and bitch about taxes, who's running the country, stupid laws, lawyers, dorks like me with nothing better to do that write in blogs, I do.....just remeber, it's still the best thing out there that they've thought of yet.

Howevuh, it was really a damn good year overall, runner-up in the regular season, tourney champs, got a 3 seed.......big home court win streak still alive......not bad at all.

Taliban Chief Vows Intense Spring Offensive

Oh.....right right right right....."A new offensive" Bring it towel heads, we kicked your happy little holes in about a week last time.
Suicide bombers, yeah that's working out for you isn't it? I'm sure you've got a daycare or a nursery in your sights don't you?
And is it just me, or is it hard to take seriously somebody named Mullah Dadullah?
And by the way, no we don't want your soil, we don't want to eliminate your beliefs, (well, except for the ones that say kill everybody who doesn't agree with you) and we sure as hell don't want you to be our puppets. That's pretty much what YOU guys want.
How many of you out there know what the word "Islam" actually means?
Here it is:
A monotheistic religion characterized by the doctrine of submission to God and to Muhammad as the chief and last prophet of God.
Wich doesn't sound bad...until you get to the "submission" part. Hmmm.....some how or another that has been interpeted by the Islamic fundamentalists to mean it's their way or the highway...for EVERYBODY.
As opposed to say "Christianity" wich means this:
The Christian religion, founded on the life and teachings of Jesus.
Nowhere does it say anything about having to "submit" I did find a couple other references that mentioned "accepting" the teachings of Jesus as part of the defintion of Christianity..nothing about "submitting" See the difference? Now before you start thinking I'm some flaming Catholic, bible thumpin', save your soul kind of guy, I'm not.....not the point of this at all. It just happens those two religions happen to be the best way to show the difference.
One basically says you can "accept" the teachings or not, and the other says you will "submit" to the teachings, period.
Kind of interesting, huh?

A second leak also was detected March10 in a separate transmission line in the North Slope complex, about 300 miles north of the Arctic Circle. The extent or cause of that spill was not known.
The operator of this pipeline is a foreign, and therefore evil company (BP Exploration-Alaska). Why have our U.S. representatives and senators allowed this to happen? My response to this aforementioned letter is as follows:
Um...Harold, are you retarded? First of all the fact that a foriegn company runs the pipeline, and it spilled a bunch of oil, pretty much makes my point for me.
I can only assume the tone of your letter is refering to the ports deal that has been squashed, thankfully. Secondly, running a pipeline 300 miles from the Arctic Circle where there is not millions of people, and running six major ports of entry to the U S where millions of people do live is quite another. Harold, let me go ahead and break this down for you, a MIDDLE EASTERN country (albeit one that professes to be our "ally") wants to control and run six major ports of entry to the U S, not only that, although they wouldn't have been in charge of security, they would've had access to every security procedure in place. Wich means, guess what Harold .... ....DING DING DING...YES......they would know how to bypass security. (Johnny, tell him what he wins!!)
All it would take is ONE....bribe, guy, whatever.
Thirdly, they wouldn't have to send a bomb thru, they could purposely create a labor dispute with the union, port shuts down, all of a sudden we're using corn stalks for toilet paper. (wich really wouldn't work out for your humble blogger, most of you know why)

There is a group out of Topeka, KS that goes around and protests soldiers funerals (for varying reasons) but mostly because they think God is punishing them for fighting for a country that allows homosexuality. For the record, do I think being gay is wrong......yes. Do I really give a crap if someone is gay or not.....no. Your business, I just don't want to have to hear about it. (just my opinion folks, that's what this site is for, it's still America)
HOWEVUH,
What I do give a crap about is a bunch of idiots from Topeka, KS running around with their holier than everybody else attitude and protesting our brave soldiers funerals.
What the Patriot Guard Riders do is, at the invitation of the family, go to these funerals, and basically put a "shield" of people and U S flags between the ding dongs and the family of the fallen soldier. These protesters carry signs and things that say, "You died for the homos" Just the nastiest stuff you can think of they write and put on a sign.
So, I have joined the PGR...and make no mistake if there is a funeral I can get to of a soldier that has fallen I will be there with the PGR.

Deadly tornadoes

Whew! What a weeknd, deadly twisters, my beloved black and gold wins the BTT (yay) and our first softball tourney goes well.....however lets start with the tornadoes. It was absolutely crazy in the K C metro area, I have never seen anything quite like it. Storm, after storm, after storm popped up and blew thru.
I know in Sedalia, Mo (about 35 miles from me) they had one twister go thru, they were holding a press conference about the damage, and when they hoped to get power restored and all that, and somebody burst in and said "We have another one on the way!" pretty crazy stuff. Luckily, your humble blogger had no damge or twisters in his location, some wind and it did hail for about a minute, and som lightning, but that was about it. On the other side of town though, some friends of mine had their car windows shattered by the hail..we were really lucky.

And finally, pretty good first outing for the softball team....2 - 2. We beat a real good team from Council Bluffs, Iowa..one of the favs to win the tourney...they went home early...heh heh. Anyway, we won 15 - 10, 8 - 3, lost 27 -17, and lost 28-19. So, we put up some runs, but ran into a couple of teams that just got hotter than a whore in a pickle patch. If we can score between 15-20 all the time, we'll win a lot of games!

We're the racists?

Thank God! Dubai Ports World has decided to back out of this. Wether it due to the rising dissent in this country over it, or whatever. We cannot have foriegn companies running ports of entry. They were going to have access to all of the security measures and everything else. No...uh huh...sorry. I saw a couple of middle eastern newspapers that were editorializing about how we're all racist pigs now towwards Arabs and middle eastern people. (meanwhile in a picture right next to it, there's a couple middle eastern men burning the American flag, and we're the racists?) Um...excuse me? I don't believe we're the ones flying planes into buildings that have DAYCARE centers in them...as in INNOCENT children daycare centers. You know what, you people are unbelievable. Well guess what, we don't care what you think, we don't need your permission to do *hit. We're the big boys on the block, you mean exactly SQUAT to us. We have enough oil in Alaska where we don't have to use you for anything. (if the enviro whacko's would back off and let us go up there like we should be able to do) When it gets to that point, and I think it will someday, you'd best keep your friggin' wigged out Islamic idiots out of our country, and minding their own business. Because I can guarantee next time you idiots fly a plane into something, it isn't going to be a few ground troops we send over. So you know what, go ahead...do it.....and lets end this thing...permanently. Maybe you'll grow up someday and have the guts to attack a military target and not women and children....nah...I doubt it. Eminent Domain..bank refues to loan to private developers...

This is a big story guys. A little background on Eminent Domain. It means the government can take your land for public use. Basically if it serves the greater good, like if a road, or bridge, etc. etc. What has been happening is the government in some cities is in bed with developers who want to take valuable land, say beachfront, lakefront, and put condos in, or whatever. What they will do is make the landowner/homeowner sell it under this law. The government will supposedly give you a "fair" price for it, then sell it to the developer. Thereby creating more tax revenue with the condos.
The only problem is they have twisted this law into meaning they can take it for this purpose, wich is not right. It is not supposed to be for private developers to be able to do this.
So, what his bank is doing is saying "no" if you're taking private owners land, we're not giving you the money. This is awesome!
There are two big cases going on right now over this, one is out on the East Coast I know, and the guy is a WWII vet, and has had this house for decades. And it's not in some run down area, and the house is not all junked out either. So good for this bank....luv it.

UNC Grad Rented SUV to Maximize Injuries in Attack

Guys, we better wake up and smell the petunias, these people want ALL of us dead. Black, white, Jewish, catholic, pink with yellow polka dots. They do not care, they HATE all of us. It's going to come down to us or them, and I sure wouldn't want to be them.
So, why does this guy even get a trial? Luckily no one was hurt, but he should still be put to death for it. The SECOND he gets out, he'll be plotting another way to kill Americans. Granted he is a chicken shit coward, who wouldn't have the guts to stand face to face with any one of us. The point is this is how these people fight, and we better figure it out. I'd sure like to hear just one prominent Muslim figure come and condemn this action, but they won't, just like they didn't after 9/11.
Well, it's going to suck when we turn the sand in your country(s) into glass. Just keep pushing us......

Military recruiters allowed on campus says Supreme Court

Just exactly why was this an issue, schools that are getting money FROM the Feds, should allow the FEDERAL recruiters on campus. You know, you big fancy schmancy law schools out East are the ones that threw the fit about no gays in the military policy. Well, they came up with a compromise and now all of a sudden that's not good enough either? You don't get to have it both ways. (heh heh...er...no pun intended there) Interesting fact: There are more people going to law school right now in this country, then there are lawyers in the entire world. Hmmm, no wonder everything is so friggin' screwed up.

Finally got to use a X-mas present this weekend, brand new cooler w/wheels.....if you don't have a big cooler w/wheels.... get one... trust me.
Iowa finishes second in the Big Ten pretty good....BTT time is Friday @ 5:30 pm. vs. winner of Minnesota/ Michigan.
Our softball tourney got rained out this weekend so nuttin' to report there....but supposed to play again Saturday in one....temps in the mid 60's, we shall see.
Our troops do what they do, so we can do what we do....support 'em!!!

Sick boy needs surgery from Vietnam, U S won't let him come

heh heh.....you know what's coming here don't you?
We let every friggin' criminal w/a record from God knows where in this country, and a little boy who could die from this infection he has, i s 2 1/2 years old and we can't get him here to have surgery? Believe me, I know what I'm talking about. When I first got to K C , I was working for a company who sub-contracted for the INS.....we had almost 90% of the immigrants files in this country where I worked (it was a giant cave)......millions and millions of files some of the ones that I saw, you would not believe the crap these guys had done that were STILL in the country and or let in the country.
It's a little kid guys, he's sick, we can cure him......I don't care if he was from the friggin' Taliban, he's 2 1/ 2 and has nothing to do with anything. Fix him, and send him back, whatever, but fix him!
It was just a couple months ago we had our Marines go rescue some abused cheetahs orsomething in Africa somewhere, what the hell? (wich was nice) But I'm talking about a HUMAN BEING HERE!
They have the money to pay for it, the taxpayers don't have to cover this, what the hell is the problem?
Maybe I'm way off base on this one.....your thoughts guys?

Good, there's no reason in the world why a high school athlete cannot at least "pass" their classes. Just do your homework, and study a little bit for tests and it shouldn't be a problem. Quite frankly I think they should be made to carry at least a "c" average....but this is a start. I was no genius or anything (as most of you know heh heh) but I never ever flunked a class. Not to say that I wasn't close once or twice (Algebra comes to my mind) but I manged to not flunk with lots of help.

Bowl game nets profit for Hawks

Oh God, I can't wait to read the letters on this...."We spent how much money on sending all those people to the bowl game in Florida?" "That shouldn't be happening, academics is more important, football should be second." Yeah maybe it should, BUT.....how much FREE publicity did we get for getting there.....then the bruhaha over the officiating...etc.etc. In the end if the Hawks only made 1 penny profit on the deal....it still cost the U absolutely ZERO dollars out of pocket because of the payout. So, to all the ding dongs that write in and complain about this.....I've got one word for you.

........okay, here we go again. {Lee, a Spanish teacher who advises the school's Christian students club, had displayed news articles about President Bush's religious faith, a National Day of Prayer flier and a depiction of George Washington praying at Valley Forge.} I hardly think this could possibly "offend" anyone. A depiction of the Father of our country PRAYING at Valley Forge! Oh, a parent complained so we better get those removed right away! I was offended, my wittle feewings were hurt. Hmmm...I wonder what would've happened had it been a prominent Middle-East historical figure praying at a site of one of their great victories. If they would've had that removed.... oh my gosh.....you friggin' racist, damn bigoted, pigs! Get over yourselves people, it's George friggin' Washington for Gods sake! AHHHHHH! What the hell is going on in this country??? Whomever this was that complained, do you get YOU ARE IN AMERICA? George Washington is the REASON you can be idiot. All right I can't even type anymore, I'm so pissed off about this. (my co -worker next to me wants to know if I have killed my keyboard yet because I was hitting the keys so hard) They did at least leave the Boy Scouts poster up.

Capitalism is failing?

I'm not sure who this joker is, but capitalism is failing? Riiiiiiight, that's why EVERY single communist country in the history of the world has either failed or is on the brink, except for China, wich is really barely communist anymore anyway.
He says rates at the top of the income tax scale should be increased, sorry Don but the wealthy ALREADY pay most of the tax burden in this country. (I could get you the figures, but just trust me) So yeah, lets tax them a little more so they WON'T have the money to buy the big ticket stuff to keep money flowing in this country.
The other thing he says in here is that we need a national program for basic health care services, ever been to Canada there Donny boy? Why do you think they all come here for services, because the program up there sucks. It's all paid for thru tobacco and alcohol taxes.....that's why it's 20.00 for a 12 pack in canada.
And by the way, everybody has a chance to pursue happiness in this country....nobody is going to just hand it to you.
Your humble blogger himself (me) went thru a deal last summer where my job was eliminated and I went to interview after interview, probably close to 30 with other ares of my company. Finally somethng just fell into my lap as kind of a temporary thing, and the only reason I got that
was because the Mgr. had heard I was trying very hard to stay with this company, and he said anybody that wants to stay that bad could work for him any day. I had no experience whatsoever in that job, either. As it turned out, I ended up back in my other old job I had originally. Anyway the point is you have to go out and get it, Don. Why don't you move to a socialist state and have them give all your money to people who aren't working, having babies they can't pay for, doing drugs......etc. I get soooooo tired of you liberal/socialist ding dongs wanting to give everybody else MY money. Go away please

Don Knotts and Darin Mcgavin...

....well we lost a couple gems over the weekend, "Barney Fife" and "Kolchack, The Night Stalker" And of course Mcgavin also known as the Dad in the best Christmas movie ever "A Christmas Story"
My favorite Andy Griffith episode has to be "The Count Vandalecky" episode. An absolute riot. The world is truly a lesser place without these two. Thanks for making me laugh guys, and some great memories growing up!

Well, our beloved black and gold thru up another stinker against Illinois Saturday night, but it was all good as two of my best buddies came down for the weekend and stayed with us. We saw a good band Friday night, and then went and watched the game Saturday night.

Believe it or not we have our first softball tourney down here this coming weekend, it's hard to believe the difference in the weather just a couple hundred miles south of ole' Iowa City. I'm luvin' it....supposed to be pushing 70 all week in K C and maybe even 80 on Wed!
